What is this casket made of?

Is this casket sealed?
Yes. It is gasketed and sealed, which resists the entry of air and moisture. No casket, sealed or otherwise, preserves remains indefinitely, and some cemeteries do not permit sealed caskets — it is worth asking yours before you decide.
Is this a full couch or half couch casket?
Full couch. The lid opens along the entire length, so the person can be seen in full at a viewing.
What are the dimensions?
The casket measures 81" long, 29" wide and 23 1/2" high on the outside. The interior is 79" long and 28" wide.
What weight will it hold?
It is rated to 300 pounds. The casket itself weighs about 180 pounds.
Is this an oversized casket?
Yes. It is wider than a standard casket. Oversized caskets need an oversized vault or grave liner, and not every cemetery stocks them, so confirm with the cemetery and the funeral home first.
Can we buy a casket here and use our own funeral home?
Yes. The FTC Funeral Rule requires a funeral home to accept a casket you bought elsewhere, and they may not charge you a handling fee for it.
How fast can the casket arrive?
Both shipping options are flat rates. Expedited is 2–4 business days and Standard is 7–10. If a service is already booked, call us before ordering and we will confirm the date.
Do you deliver directly to the funeral home?
Yes. We call the funeral home ourselves, agree a delivery window that suits them and confirm it back to you. You do not have to arrange anything between us.
