Yes. It is gasketed and sealed, which resists the entry of air and moisture. No casket, sealed or otherwise, preserves remains indefinitely, and some cemeteries do not permit sealed caskets — it is worth asking yours before you decide.

Full couch. The lid opens along the entire length, so the person can be seen in full at a viewing.

The casket measures 81" long, 28" wide and 23 1/2" high on the outside. The interior is 79" long and 27" wide.
What weight will it hold?
