Is this actually solid copper, or copper-colored steel?
Solid copper. The metal is copper all the way through, not a finish over steel. That is the difference between this and a casket described as having a copper tone or copper finish, and it is most of the price difference too.
Will the copper tarnish?
Copper darkens over time into a patina rather than rusting. That is what copper does, and it is not corrosion — the metal underneath is unaffected. Families who want a metal that keeps its original color choose stainless steel instead.
What is this casket made of?

Is this a full couch or half couch casket?
Half couch. Only the upper half of the lid opens, which is the arrangement most families see at a viewing.
What are the dimensions?
The casket measures 83" long, 28 1/8" wide and 23 1/8" high on the outside. The interior is 76" long and 23 1/2" wide.
Can we buy a casket here and use our own funeral home?
Yes. The FTC Funeral Rule requires a funeral home to accept a casket you bought elsewhere, and they may not charge you a handling fee for it.
How fast can the casket arrive?
Both shipping options are flat rates. Expedited is 2–4 business days and Standard is 7–10. If a service is already booked, call us before ordering and we will confirm the date.
Do you deliver directly to the funeral home?
Yes. We call the funeral home ourselves, agree a delivery window that suits them and confirm it back to you. You do not have to arrange anything between us.
