Solid maple under a camber maple stain and a satin finish. Maple takes a stain more evenly than most hardwoods, so the colour stays consistent across the panels instead of pooling in the grain. Champagne velvet inside. The lid accepts a decorative casket panel, and Batesville's Family Choices personalisation lets the corners and that panel be chosen to suit; a Family Remembrance Pieta is included. Solid carved handles on wood bars, antique hardware, FailSafe liner. It measures 83 by 28⅝ by 23 inches and weighs 240 pounds. At $3,995 it sits among the higher-priced of our wood caskets.
