Solid mahogany with swinging solid wood bars and antique bronze fittings — the bars are wood rather than metal rails, which is the older way of doing it and much heavier in the hand. Velvet inside, quilted with a matching pillow, over an adjustable bed frame that raises at both the head and the foot. Built as a full couch, so the lid opens along its whole length. Square casket corners. It is a larger casket than most — 85 1/2 inches long and 29 wide — so confirm the vault with the cemetery. Rated to 500 pounds.
